1. I am not a VIN Member. Can I purchase items in the VIN Store?
 

You do not need to be a VIN Member to purchase any item in the VIN Store, but there are no discounts or FREE SHIPPING for Non VIN Members.

VIN Members receive 10-15% discounts on all items in the VIN Store, and also receive FREE SHIPPING on orders over $90.00 (ground shipping, continental USA only).

  2. What Credit Cards do you accept?
 

Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express, Discover®.

Please provide the “bill to” address exactly as it appears on your credit card billing statement. During our online real time authorization process we will validate that the “Bill to” information you provided matches the information on file with your credit card issuing company. The processing of your order may be delayed if we cannot verify the “Bill to” information or the information does not match the address information on file.

Your credit card will not be charged until we provide the goods or services you ordered.


3. Is my order secure?
 

Veterinary Information Network is sensitive to your concerns regarding the security of using your credit cards and electronic check information to purchase products and services through the Internet. Safeguarding your privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. Our site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts your data while it is being transferred over the Internet. This makes it very difficult for someone to steal your credit card information.


  4. Will I be charged any sales tax?
 

Orders shipped to California addresses will have California state sales tax added, calculated based on the California city to which the order is shipped.


  5. How is my order processed?
 

Orders with 2 or more books: books may arrive at different times since they may be shipped from different locations. Your order of in-stock merchandise will be shipped based on the time frame associated with the method of shipment selected at the time of check out. Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed on the next business day. If you order cannot be shipped within 30 days of the date of your order, you will be given the option to cancel your order.


  6. Can I change my order?
 

We process your orders very quickly. If you find that you have made an error in your order, please notify us immediately by e-mailing us at the following e-mail address. If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to correct it. However if the merchandise has already been shipped, we will be unable to modify any portion of your order.

  7. Can I make a return or exchange?

  8. What is a "Cookie" and how do you use it?
 

A 'cookie' is a very tiny piece of text, occupying just a few bytes on your hard drive. Its purpose is to let us know when you visit us. 'Cookies' help us evaluate visitor's use of our site, such as what customers are viewing. This information allows us to better focus on servicing our customers.

The text, by itself, only tells us that a previous visitor has returned. It does not tell us, who you are, or your email address or anything else personal. If you want to give us that information later, that's your choice.
